About Mint Mind
My Background
Welcome! I am Andrea Dhillon, founder of Mint Mind Therapy.
As a Person-Centred Counsellor you can expect a unique, impartial, and empathetic approach to counselling that values your individual experiences, feelings, and needs above all else.
I have worked for over 17 years supporting people in the workplace. I have helped those experiencing problems such as poor mental health, burnout, relationship breakdowns, ill health, and poor work-life balance to name but few.
Through my own journey in life, I decided that I wanted to specialise the help I could provide by offering a therapeutic setting. I find the counselling relationship is like no other. It offers a safe and non-judgmental space to explore thoughts and feelings without fear of criticism or misunderstanding whilst valuing your individual experiences.
I appreciate there are many reasons why you may be reading this today. I hope at some point we are able to discuss why you are thinking about counselling and what you hope to get from it.
My hope is that we can work together collaboratively to explore your concerns and find solutions that resonate with your values and aspirations.
My ultimate goal is to empower you to live a more fulfilling and authentic life.

My lived experiences have also informed my counselling practice today. This has led to me taking special (though varied) interests in working with those who have experienced; a multiple pregnancy, children with a serious illness and child loss.
My Approach
I provide a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without fear of criticism or misunderstanding. As the therapeutic relationship grows you can be assured that I will support you in your journey towards self-discovery and personal growth, regardless of your background or circumstances. The therapeutic relationship is based on trust, respect, and openness.
I work with adult clients in-person, online and telephone.
In-person sessions take place at The Eaves in Guildford;
Parklands, 3 Paris, Railton Rd, Guildford GU2 9JX
I offer a free, no obligation, initial 20 minute consultation session to explore what you want from counselling and how I can support.
